Anahera started Kohopoho after a decade of radio documentary work. She is interested in the ordinary rather than the exotic, and edits accordingly.

Emeka trained as an industrial designer and now writes about hand processes — indigo vats, kiln firings, the smell of a tannery.

Lena is a linguist who fell into food writing because that is where the interesting vocabulary was. She reports mostly from Central Europe and the Levant.
